Winnie is a tiny girl that was wandering in a neighborhood with a broken leg. She had been a stray for quite some time but no one contacted us until she got hurt. We are hoping the leg will heal properly but she gets around great for now. She loves to play and is just a sweet little tyke that needs a home where she will be loved and taken care of. Winnie is only 11 lbs and is about a year old.
UPDATE: Winnie’s leg was not going to heal by itself so we brought her to OKC for surgery. She will need several weeks of confinement and rechecks to make sure the plate will hold as it is very small. Winnie’s expenses so far are over $1600 and will continue to rise with x-rays to see if the leg is healing. We have taken in so many this year that expenses such as this really deplete our funds, but we feel Winnie is worth every penny so we will manage somehow.
