Say hi to Trini. Trini definitely found heaven when her foster mom came across her picture on a shelter site. Putting together a rescue that relied on good friends in pug rescue, Trini was snatched from the jaws of despair just in time. This sad fawn girl has horrible skin along with a large, open sore from an ingrown collar. The shelter had spayed her, did some vaccinations and wormed and microchipped her. They also removed a lump and are biopsying it. We’ll keep our fingers crossed that it’s nothing serious. The shelter thinks she is about 2 years old and weighs about 30lbs. She was probably used as a breeder before she was found wandering as a stray.
Here is the description from our friendly pug rescuer: “She is a lovely girl! She can walk when she wants, but if she doesn't want to, she just plops and won't budge. She is good with the other dogs—no problem whatsoever. She likes/is intrigued with the cats and kittens. She gives kisses, is very gentle-mouthed and loves to be loved. She wants to sit on your lap and be near you." Our Trini has some issues and some unknowns her foster mom will be working on, but we can’t to hear more about this delightful girl. We are happy and grateful that the pug rescue was able to help rescue Trini. Trini has some medical bills in her future.
