Pug Fest is a celebration of the pug held on an annual basis. Pug Hugs, Inc. d/b/a Milwaukee Pug Fest is a Wisconsin non-profit corporation with Federal tax exempt status under Sec. 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code and also has State sales tax exemption status. We are an all volunteer group dedicated to fund raising (and FUN raising) for pug rescue and to raise awareness of responsible breeding practices and the plight of pugs kept solely for breeding in puppy mills and by backyard breeders. It is an unfortunate fact that the most ill pugs in rescue seem to come from irresponsible breeders who don't take care of their needs and then surrender them. Milwaukee Pug Fest will be sponsoring a “South Shore Smushie Face Play Group”. We are looking for Pugs, Pug Mixes, Boston Terriers and Frenchies. We will be meeting once per month, supporting local businesses and the new Warnimount Dog Park in Cudahy. This is a great opportunity for owners that reside along the lakeshore and Greater Milwaukee. If you are interested, drop us an email at milwaukeepugfest@yahoo.com and we will keep you apprised of our monthly activities. We are hoping that the Warnimont Dog park will open in July and will keep you posted the progress.
Pug Hugs, Inc. is participating in the Pick’ N Save WE CARE Program which allows us the opportunity to raise
additional funds by having our friends shop at Pick’ N Save food stores and use their Advantage Saver’s Club
card every time they shop. A percentage of the total WE CARE dollar spent at Pick’ N Save will be donated back to Pug Hugs, Inc.
